- Email (via Google, Apple, or password)
- Optional: parent name
1.2 Child Information
- Name or nickname
- Exact age (0–18)
- Used only within the app to personalize dashboard content and guidance
1.3 Chatbot Usage
- Chatbot interactions are processed via Anthropic
- Not stored by default
- Premium users may opt-in to store chat history for personalized continuity
- No data is used to train the model
1.4 Family Agreement & Homepage Setup
- Family safety preferences (device use, rules, etc.)
- Dashboard customization details
- Both editable beyond onboarding
1.5 Community Forum
- Posts are stored if user is Premium
- Read-only access for Free users
1.6 Analytics
- We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage (non-personally identifiable)
- Crash data, screen views, and anonymized usage behavior
2. How We Use Data
- To personalize content by child age
- To deliver features such as the Family Checklist, forum, and onboarding
- To improve the service and prevent misuse
- To send email updates or product messages via Resend
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Tools
We do not sell your data. We use these trusted partners:
Supabase (auth/db), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Firebase (analytics), Zoho (email), Anthropic (chatbot)
Each vendor is contractually required to use data only to support Knowlie’s services.
4. Cookies & Tracking
- Firebase uses cookies for analytics
- You may disable cookies via your browser settings
- No third-party ad tracking
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Account data is retained until deleted by user
- You may request full data deletion by emailing contact@knowlie.com
- We aim to respond within 30 days, and no later than 45 days per applicable laws
6. Children’s Privacy
We collect limited child data only with parental input
- We do not collect any identifying info like email or full name
- Data is never shared, only used in-app for personalization
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may:
- Access, modify, or delete your data
- Request a copy of your stored data
- Withdraw consent or object to certain processing
